Stainless steel brake pistons
Anyone who has worked on the braking systems of our old dinosaurs will be aware of the rusting propensities of the OEM Honda brake pistons. Brake fluid is hygroscopic (it absorbs water from the atmosphere); the water molecules being heavier than the brake fluid migrate to the bottom of the system ie. the calipers. Due to the way the piston seals act on the pistons, water molecules can also pass the seal and enter the system. Rust then forms on the pistons.
The rust tears the seals and the caliper develops a leak.
We are agents for stainless steel brake pistons to fit many models of Honda. These beautiful pistons are manufactured in Germany by an Goldwing owning enthusiast engineer. These are made to exacting standards and in many cases are considerably cheaper then the OEM ones.

I cannot endorse these highly enough! Enough to say perhaps that my own bike has them in the rear brake.
Many things need to be well lubricated on a motorcycle; the brake discs and pads are not in that category!!!
