We have many used GL1000 spares but due to a shortage of time they are not all prepared for pictures. Our USA base has just acquired a load of GL1000 used parts, so if you don't see what you want, ask! We also have contacts all over the world that deal in parts for these machines
The descriptions are as accurate as we can make them. Please remember that things often appear better in photographs than in real life, and that many of these parts are more than 30 years old.
If you want NEW parts, you need to BUY new parts (if you can)!
We do not / will not sell junk! All these parts we would happily use on our own bikes!

Drive Shaft Coupling. 40210-371-003 '75 - '79
This is the later one piece version. Fits all '75-'79
Nearly new, it has perfect splines at both the shaft and the input end.
Marks on the outside are from the swing arm grease seal, not grooved.
These new are £90 + 20% VAT + shipping from David Silver!

STARTER SPROCKET. 28110-371-000 '75 -'83
starter clutch sprocket in great condition. The clutch roller surfacees are free from the usual dents and there is virtually no corrosion on it.
The needle roller bearings are smooth and free. The sprocket teeth show no signs of wear.
These are now discontinued by Honda. Without the bearings or circlips they were listed at anywhere between $60 and $90!

Used GL1000 drive shaft coupling. 40210-371-003
Early two piece coupling with some rust marks on the outside, but the shaft splines are perfect and there's minimal wear on the sliding splines.
These new are £90 +20% VAT +shipping from David Silver!

Later carb brackets in great shape!
Cleaned up beautifully, really good chrome and include the two HT lead holders. They will fit all years of GL1000 and GL1100.
Early GL1000, '75 to very early '76 had a different bracket without the slotted covers. If you are restoring one of these you need that type which we also have in stock.

The black painted cowl is good, the chrome is also very good, no dents in the bowl. The face and glass are fine but the needle has faded. An excellent unit in spite of that.

1979 GL1000 COMSTAR FRONT WHEEL
In really nice condition with very few marks. No gouges, nor rim damage from tyre levers. If you are running a '78 with the weak front wheel and the one year only discs, this could be a good change-over for you.

'75 - '77 SHELTER TOP PANEL
Pretty it ain't! But it's a solid base for a re-paint. No dents and just a very little surface rust in places underneath.

The panel is very good; the paint is not ! No cracks, gouges or age spidering in the fibreglass. The screw threads are all good. A good panel as a basis for re-paint.

GL1000 Rear Brake Disc '75 - '79
Very good brake disc. Some scoring on the front of it (it's been used!), none on the back; but next to no wear!
New they are 7mm thick; this one measures 6.8mm!
Minimum thickness is 5mm, so tons of life left in this one.

GL1000 Front Brake Discs '75 - '77
A very good pair of front brake discs.
Some slight scoring on the front of them (they've been used!), none on the back;
but next to no wear!
New they are 6mm thick; these both measure 5.90mm!
Minimum thickness is 5mm, so tons of life left.
